What is LiveTony.com?

LiveTony.com is a website based on a live tech-show. The live tech-show will be like watching on TV just that it's online. The live show will have a structure and a fluency. The one thing that makes this live-show so much cooler and more fun to watch then to watch it on TV, is that everybody has a "voice". I mean that there is a chat below the video were you can comment and ask during the live-show. I will look at what your saing in the chat alot, so that I can agree or disagree, comment or ask you what you mean.

The chat will be on 24/7. In the chat you can chat with other technolgy-interested people, but the show will only be on every friday a 8pm (20.00) GTM+1.

History

There is really no BIG and long history about the site. It started the 22:e April 2009.

Tony, the creator and founder of LiveTony.com, wanted one day to watch a show were they only talked about computers and technology. He searched the whole internet without any success. He found some live-shows, but there was no one who was really serious with the live-show. They were airing live sometimes and no one knew when the host was going to talk to the live-audience. So, he thought:

"Why shouldn't I create a Live-show about tech, where everybody can get together and discuss about TECH. Where the audience know when the live-show will start. It' will have a structure were we take up every subject after the other, and not just a little of that and a little of that...etc. I want a TV-show about computers and technology online and live, so that everybody can comment with tha chat, LIVE. You can't comment on a TV-show when your only watching TV, right??".

He started creating LiveTony.com and it took him some time. He had really no one around him, like a dad, mother or uncle, who knew anything about computers, but still that was his passion! First time he got a computer with XP and internet to his home, he was 12 years old. Sometime he wonders, when did this interess start to interess him so much, but still, just during his first year with a good computer and internet he has had both 3 types of windows and 7 types of linux-OS:s on that PC. One time he had 7 different operating systems on his computer at the same time, Partitions... He knows alittle about programing and now he knows alot about website-creating...
Tony used google, youtube etc. to get the information he needed to creat such a great looking website. He didn't want a mediocre website, it had to be professional, thats why it took him such a long time...

But when he was done, he was happy and glad. Today (now that I'm writing this) it's the 2 May 2009, and he has already had over 100 of visitors. That means that he has had over 100 visitors in just 10 days and he hopes that it will continue in that speed.
